Okay, here is a bit of audience participation!

This is an image I found whilst browsing through my art history text as I was studying between classes. It is a Civil War photograph called "A Harvest of Death." It is a very visceral, horrific image, and I was really captivated by it. I encourage you, the reader, to really have a look at it.
An now for a audio aid.
As I sat in the library looking at this photo, I was listening to my iPod. Here is what started playing quite suddenly. It works best if you click open the link in another tab, while still looking at the photo:
